Louis Vuitton's latest perfumes are a breath of fresh air
April 3, 2019: After five successful fragrances, Louis Vuitton has upped the game with three new fresh summer fragrances: Sun Song, Cactus Garden and Afternoon Swim. A notion of endless holidays and marvellous destinations capture the sun, sky, gardens and sea.
An enchanting triptych of pop colours and the scent of optimism. Their names carry the promise of adventure. For these three scents, Louis Vuitton’s Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud was inspired by California and its colourful, joyful and holiday vibes.
The Sun song is “sun in a bottle” fragrance with notes of orange blossom, ciron and musk. Just like the rough exterior and wet interior of a cactus, Cactus Garden is a refreshing mix with bergamot, lemongrass, and South American favourite matte tea. Afternoon Swim is like plunging into the ocean of the senses with notes of orange, bergamot and mandarin.
LA based artist Alex Israel designs the outer packaging. The flacons and boxes come in vibrant yellow, green and blue, with drawings of a sun, cactus and wave.
