Louis XIII launches 'A Century in a Bottle' prize draw

Louis XIII bottleJuly 4, 2012: To celebrate Louis XIII’s partnership with the luxury event, Masterpiece London 2012, the cognac brand is giving one lucky winner plus a guest the chance to win a trip to the home of its creation - Cognac, France!

Created in 1874, Louis XIII’s contest is valid only for UK citizens. Louis XIII has ten special milestones to be celebrated through its history. Each date in the Louis XIII timeline represents an unceasing quest for quality within the House of Rémy Martin.

One fortunate participant, plus a guest, will be given the opportunity to go to Cognac to experience how the cherished spirit is crafted from four generations of Cellar Masters’ expertise. All they need to prove is that their family history exists alongside that of Louis XIII. In 1874, when Louis XIII was first being created and decanted at the courthouse of Angouleme and officially being registered under the name of “Grande Champagne”, one of your ancestors could have potentially been making their debut into the world!

It’s time to scour and truly understand your family tree! But be nimble as the contest closes midnight 1st August 2012.
