August 4, 2016: Mandarin Oriental, Taipei is collaborating with French haute-couture brand, Dior. The hotel is offering an Absolutely Blooming Afternoon Tea at Café Un Deux Trois from August 1 through 21, where guests will be able to indulge in pastries inspired by the Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet fragrance, and receive a special gift set from the perfumer.

Mandarin Oriental, Taipei’s Executive Pastry Chef, Gregory Doyen, has handcrafted a series of pastries with recipes influenced by the essence of Grasse Rose and fruity notes that combine to give Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet its fragrance. Delicacies inspired by the pink-hued perfume include Vanilla Cake with White Chocolate and Peach Coulis, and a Sacher Biscuit with Raspberry Cream and Guava Coulis.

Guests ordering The Absolutely Blooming Afternoon Tea will receive a Dior gift set that includes a 5ml Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet miniature perfume.  Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet was created by Chief Perfumer of Dior, Francois Demachy, in homage to Christian Dior’s passion for flowers.

The Absolutely Blooming Afternoon Tea is priced at TWD 1,000 per person.Guests will receive one Dior gift set, which includes Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet miniature perfume (5ml), per afternoon tea.
