December 14, 2015: St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, has announced Jamie Cullum, the award-winning jazz-pop singer-songwriter, as its newest St. Regis Connoisseur. As a brand ambassador, Mr Cullum will continue to lead the much buzzed about Jazz Legends at St. Regis series, which to date has brought intimate yet electric jazz performances to New York, Washington, DC, Istanbul, San Francisco, Mexico City and Bangkok. Launching January 2016, the celebrated artist has lent his ear to curate jazz music for the public spaces of all St. Regis hotels and resorts globally. He has also compiled his favorite tunes, capturing a variety of moods, for a playlist which will be available on www.stregis.com/jazz this month.

Jim Petrus, Global Brand Leader, St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, said, “Jazz is an innate part of the St. Regis legacy, and with performances scheduled around the world, we are thrilled to work with today’s jazz legend as we introduce Jamie as our newest St. Regis Connoisseur.”

Throughout the Jazz Age, the Rooftop Ballroom at the iconic St. Regis New York played host to some of the most renowned jazz musicians with unforgettable performances from greats like Count Basie, Duke Ellington and Buddy Rich. This rich musical legacy makes jazz the soundtrack of the St. Regis brand even today.
