December 4, 2019: Soon after opening their flagship store in New Delhi, designer duo Falguni Shane Peacock have launched their Flagship store in Mumbai's fashion district Kala Ghoda.
As the label embarks on their 15th anniversary, Falguni Shane Peacock have gradually reinforced their place as a leading luxury couture designers in the industry. Their design sensibility of blending edgy, intricately detailed western cuts and Indian embellishments has won them many accolades in the industry, besides an enviable roster of international celebrity clients.
Designed by designer Gauri Khan, this new destination store houses the label's signature couture gowns, bridal wear, saris and a limited edition of occasion wear for men. The heritage structure, colossal antique chandelier, customised décor in the hues of powder pink with speckles of gold and luxurious individualistic nooks is what primarily makes the 6,000 sq.ft. Flagship store of Falguni Shane Peacock stand tall.
Brass peacock motifs and the FSP logo can be found at multiple spaces, beginning from the door to the ultimate end of the store. Custom flooring from luxury marble brand Arnaya has been weaved into the store design. All the elements were executed by architect duo, Komal and Amit Malwade – partners of PCA Group, a design firm based out of Mumbai.
