June 20, 2020: Indian brand Good Earth has launched ‘STILL’, a home and apparel summer 2020 collection inspired by the moments of stillness and their subtle charm, and the quietude that the season brings with it. The sublime range of apparel and home linen captures the unhurried languor of summer and celebrates the simple yet delightful everyday pleasures of relaxing, reflecting and connecting with the stillness inside you.
Chaya (meaning shade from heat) is a line-up of classic Sustain silhouettes and loungewear. Kurtas, dresses, and pants, crafted in diaphanous Chanderis and the softest handloom cottons – uplifted with hints of embroidery, are presented in an all-white palette. The collection also includes a loungewear capsule of chogas and kaftans for a relaxed time. In soothing whites and indigos, these are crafted in light-as-air muslins with fine jamdani motifs deftly woven into the fabric.
To drape homes with serene moments of calm, there is Chand Bagh (literally translating as Moon Garden) – a selection of home and table linen in tranquil ivories made with natural linens and cottons. This all-white bed collection, is highlighted with tonal embroidery in a floral jaal pattern, to create the perfect vision of summer. The selection of textured and embroidered cushions in bright prints and neutral tones, features florals, ikat patterns, and delicate embellishments.
