Isprava turns a century-old home into a modern members-only club in Goa

Isprava’s Solene aims to become a cultural hub in Goa with exclusive pop-ups and events.

The Isprava Group, known for creating some of India’s most sought-after luxury homes, has launched Solene, a private members-only club located in the village of Moira, Goa. The space, originally a 100-year-old family home, has been renovated and repurposed into a modern social and cultural hub while preserving its heritage elements. The intent behind this restoration appears to be a balance between preserving cultural character and creating a functional, high-end gathering space.

Solene’s layout plays a big part in that. The club’s design brings together traditional Indo-Portuguese architecture with contemporary elements—arched doorways, old-school tiling, high ceilings—but everything’s been upgraded for modern use. There are breezy courtyards, sunlit rooms, and carefully designed spots that make you want to hang out, not just pass through. It doesn’t try too hard, and that’s what makes it work.

Nibhrant Shah, Managing Director & Co-CEO of Isprava Group, said, “Solene is more than just a space—it embodies the values we believe in at Isprava: thoughtful design, genuine community, and experiences that go beyond the surface. Watching this vision come to life has been an incredible experience, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.”

The club’s layout is designed to accommodate different kinds of gatherings. The Orangerie is a bright space for dining or showcasing art, while The Lounge & The Patio offer spots for casual conversations and socializing. There’s also a wellness area with a fitness center, cold plunge, sauna, and an outdoor pickleball court for those who want to stay active in style.

Dhimaan Shah, Executive Director & Co-CEO, emphasized that the club wasn’t built around surface-level luxury. “At Isprava, we have always believed that luxury is not just about aesthetics—it’s about the community, the people, and the moments that make a space feel truly special. Solene represents this ethos in its purest form… We saw first-hand how Solene will become a cultural hub in Goa—one that brings together individuals who appreciate the finer things in life, not just in materiality but in experiences, conversations, and community.”

Julia’s Garden, a vibrant outdoor space, is set to host exclusive pop-ups, cultural events, and intimate experiences that focus on community and connection. The goal for Solene is not to follow fleeting trends, but to offer a space with lasting value where both the design and the events are purposefully curated.

The launch of Solene marks another step for Isprava, which is known for its luxury homes in non-urban locations across India and its hospitality brand Lohono Stays. With Solene, they’re focused on creating environments that support the lifestyle people want. The club stands out in Goa’s luxury scene by focusing on providing a space that feels personal, current, and grounded in community.
