Jaeger-LeCoultre organises ‘Two Worlds’ exhibition in New York

Sarah Gadon and Jeager-LeCoultre photo exhibition New YorkNovember 20, 2015: Watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre organized a private viewing of the photographic exhibition by Caitlin Cronenberg entitled “Two Worlds”, at its New York Flagship, with actress Sarah Gadon as a special guest.

“Two Worlds” captures the elegance, free-spirit and spontaneous personality of Ms Gadon wearing a Jaeger-LeCoultre Rendez-Vous watch.

The Canadian screen award-winning actress oscillates between two diametrically opposed universes of her old and new life in New York. She gravitates between Brooklyn and Manhattan, alternatively enjoying her home or exploring the city.

“Whenever I work with Caitlin we spend time ahead of the shoot creating and discussing the character at the heart of the shoot. In the spirit of New York we took to the streets to capture the real-time energy of the city,” Ms Gadon said.

Toronto-born Caitlin Cronenberg has shot the images for a number of international movie posters and captured many behind the scenes film pictures. “My style is usually very cinematic as I like to tell a story with my subject…From the architecture to the way the light hits the buildings, it [New York] is a magical place and I am very happy with how we were able to showcase that,” she said.

This photographic exhibition can be visited at Jaeger-Le Coultre’s New York flagship on Madison Avenue, from November 17 to 30, 2015.
