June 1, 2017: Luxury brand Jimmy Choo has announced a new Pre-Fall women’s collection. Dedicated to soft summer-ready aesthetic that balances feminine toughness and a free-spirted style, Creative Director Sandra Choi has chosen a unique contradiction of captivating moods for the collection’s theme. The collection ranges from a relaxed mood that translates to city life to holiday retreats to festivals and in between.
Studs, a core Choo theme, is also incorporated in the collection. They exemplify sensuality and toughness while still maintaining beauty, and an attitude of romantic and rebellious sensibility. Vintage rose, bold metallic and striking neon pink and yellow with star design accents highlight this collection for the free-spirited woman.
The Globe is a key style. It is a minimal slipper-style sandal with d’orsay cutaway sides. Options include denim, suede, and nappa leather de bar or decorated with studded metalwork fit for any occasion. An open-toed style with or without a block heel is also an option, called the Myla or Hustle. These come in vintage rose and black suede, white and gold nappa trimmed with gold studs, and the standout galaxy star printed leather.
Apart from other primary shoe styles, a minimal, feminine cross body bag is part of the collection as well. Available in a celestial, galaxy printed design, a studded tan suede or tonal leather, this bag is a versatile piece suitable for different occasions, from exciting festivals to days at the beach.
Ms Choi insists that this collection is meant to encourage women to enhance their personal style. It invites ladies to embrace being independent, to live in a fashion world where there are no rules so that one style can work in a variety of environments.
