Judith Leiber Brand President, Mary Gleason, announced the launch of Judith Leiber Weddings that will be available to brides for Spring 2011. The expansion is part Ms Gleason’s growth strategy that includes the spring launch of Judith Leiber Jewellery and Fragrance as well as a re-vamped ecommerce.
Bridal was a natural extension for Judith Leiber. Ms Gleason explains, “We recognize the importance of this day and wanted to do something unique and special for the bride. Judith Leiber Weddings is the perfect way to introduce young women to our brand. Every bride remembers her wedding dress, shoes and bag and we wanted to be a part of that.”
So bask in some special wedding-themed minuadieres and handbags including new styles, updated classics and novelty designs. Each handcrafted design is lined in an exclusive custom silk aptly named, Something Blue. Highlights of the collection include the Wedding Cake – a three-tiered handbag iced with crystals, pearls and flowers. Valeria is a white taffeta soft clutch adorned with an exaggerated crystal ribbon. The Fizzy, a petite rendition of the popular Ritz Fizz clutch, is formalized for the occasion by its pebble pattern of pearls and crystals.
