Kross Studio’s latest KS 05 Titanium Moss Agate is quite captivating

The Swiss design studio and manufacturer takes their creativity to a whole new level by seamlessly integrating the nuances of nature into their timepieces.

Kross Studio is a brand that has consistently exceeded the expectations of its followers, maintaining a high level of creativity since its establishment. Moreover, it continually pushes boundaries, setting new standards for others in the industry. A prime example of this is the recent introduction of a new addition to the KS 05 collection. Designed for Kross Studio’s trusted partner in the United Arab Emirates, Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, this timepiece is a unique blend of finesse and functionality.

Kross Studio Floating Tourbillon

Attracting the discerning eye of a watch collector, the timepiece showcases a 45mm brushed titanium case housing a moss agate dial and the brand’s iconic central floating tourbillon movement.

Crafted from grade 5 titanium, a material prized for its superior strength and durability, the case exudes a refined elegance with its circular satin finish. The dial is composed of two distinct parts, each contributing to its exceptional beauty and functionality.

The outer dial, known as the flange, seamlessly connects the case to the movement, highlighting the innovative central floating tourbillon. With a circular satin finish and an engraved railway track filled with white lacquer, this outer dial exudes sophistication. Meanwhile, the inner dial, crafted from moss agate, offers a captivating interplay of transparency.

Moss agate originates from mineral deposits found within the crevices of volcanic rocks, developing a unique appearance characterized by filaments or dendrites that bear a resemblance to moss. Positioned at 9 o’clock and fixed onto the movement’s plate, it provides a mesmerizing glimpse into the intricate mechanics of the watch, with traditional watchmaking details visible amidst the stone’s filaments.

With two straps included, the KS 05 Titanium Moss Agate promises versatility and sophistication in equal measure. Each timepiece from the collection is crafted in a limited series of 10 pieces or as a one-of-a-kind creation to match the preferences of astute collectors.

The KS 05 Titanium Moss Agate watch is offered exclusively at Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons in the United Arab Emirates for 98,000 CHF. Such an artistic creation is likely the first of many more to come.
