Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Creative Director, Pharrell Williams, once again joined forces with Tyler, the Creator, to unveil the Spring 2024 Men’s Capsule Collection. This is not a first for the artist though.
Tyler, the Creator had previously collaborated with the brand to create a special composition for the Fall-Winter 2022 Men’s show. After capturing the essence of classic Americana in Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection, Mr. Williams has now curated a playful lineup infused with the brand’s signature flair, complemented by the whimsical vision of Tyler, the Creator.
Blending the artist’s iconic imagery and fashion sense with that of Louis Vuitton, the Craggy Monogram takes center stage, hand-drawn in a stylized rendition by the artist himself. Presented in pastel hues of chocolate and vanilla, the motif evokes the creamy tones reminiscent of liquefied textures found in patisserie, paying homage to the donuts logo associated with the Odd Future hip-hop collective co-founded by Tyler.
Accessories showcase a grass-green Damier pattern on classic Louis Vuitton bags such as the Sac Golf and its mini cross-body counterpart, adorned with pink leather floral charms and lined with the iconic Airedale Terrier motifs.
This iconic collaboration wouldn’t be complete without an equally legendary celebration. The brand gathered its renowned circle of friends to mark the launch of the collection. Donald Glover, Barry Keoghan, Steven Yeun, Jaden Smith, Peso Pluma, Julez Smith Jr., Cam Hicks, Paul Downs, Lionel Boyce, A$AP Nast, Travis Bennett, and others graced the event held at the brand’s men’s store on Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles.
