Maldives Tourism lures Indian tourists through initiatives

In glamourous evening celebrated with wine and cheese, Maldives Tourism Promotion Board and the Jumeirah group came together to celebrate the opening of the Jumeirah Dhevanafushi in Maldives.

This exclusive all-suite Jumeirah resort is set to open in the first quarter of 2011. The resort includes 22 island villas, three restaurants and a bar, as well as Talise Spa.

The evening also included marine-inspired art works by artist Bipasha Sen Gupta. The art exhibition was hosted to encourage conservation of marine life. Incredibly, Maldives Tourism has pledged to become completely carbon-free in the next decade, in a bid to conserve its coral reefs and marine life.

Travelling to Maldives is certainly going to be more pleasurable now!
