Michael Kors launches Destination Kors online

September 8, 2011: Michael Kors has introduced Destination Kors – the new online lifestyle destination centered around the world of Michael Kors – which has been curated by the designer himself.

One part editorial site, one part digital dashboard, Destination Kors integrates all facets of a luxury brand – from the designer, to product, to e-commerce. The site will also serve as the content engine housing the brand’s digital touchpoints, such as its Facebook and Twitter page, and eventual retail points of sale.

Destination Kors also offers visitors never-before-seen content, including videos of Mr Kor’s trips around the world, behind-the-scenes footage of his runway shows, and the premiere of his 30th anniversary celebration, starring Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige, Debra Messing and more. Also watch Michael’s video collaborations with bloggers, tastemakers and influencers from various artistic disciplines. Fans of ‘Project Runway’ can tune in to get the exclusive scoop each week on what Michael thought of the designers.

As Michael Kors increases its global reach, Destination Kors will offer localized editorial features in each of the brand’s markets, starting with Japan and China this fall, and all locations by early 2012.
