Immersed in the world of water from a tender age, his unique upbringing sculpted him into the remarkable athlete he is today.
Following the success of their 1858 collection in the mountains, Montblanc ventured into maritime landscapes with the Iced Sea collection, crafted to withstand underwater exploration without oxygen. In Tignes, France, Mr. Trubridge tested the Montblanc timepiece in glacial waters beneath mountain ice, in a real-life trial of its durability. For the first time in his athletic life, Mr. Trubridge swam in water at 0°C, in the middle of the ice, and at an altitude of 2000 meters in the majestic mountains of the French Alps, very close to the Mont Blanc mountain itself.

Mr. Trubridge stunned the world with his record of holding his breath for eight minutes in static apnoea. In keeping with the ethos followed by Mr. Trubridge, Montblanc introduced a new feat to the Montblanc Iced Sea 0 Oxygen Deep 4810 sports watch as it is capable of descending to 4,810 meters below sea level, mirroring the height of the Mont Blanc mountain. This symbolic link between mountain and ocean epitomizes the seamless fusion of mountaineering and freediving embraced by the timepiece.
