Officine Panerai launches boutique in Mumbai

August 13, 2012: Watchmaker Officine Panerai starts its expansion in the Indian subcontinent by opening its first flagship boutique in Mumbai, the country’s financial capital, in partnership with Lifestyle Tradelinks Pvt. Ltd.
 
The new Officine Panerai boutique is located in Taj Mahal Palace & Towers Hotel. The Panerai boutique welcomes customers into a simple, classic setting where forms and materials linked to the world of the sea such as teak and steel are used. The boutique offers customers and collectors a sleek, elegant setting to get to know and purchase all the models of Officine Panerai collections as well as the rarest special editions of the Italian fine watch making company.
 
Inside the boutique, a big wall clock provides a large-scale version of one of the distinguishing features of the Panerai watches: the ‘sandwich’ structure of the dial, with two overlapping layers encompassing the layer of Super-LumiNova used to create the hands and numbers, to guarantee depth and excellent visibility.
