February 21, 2017: One&Only Royal Mirage, Dubai has partnered with acclaimed Indian Chef Gaggan Anand to create a pop-up restaurant at the resort’s fine dining restaurant, Celebrities.
Born and raised in Kolkata, Chef Gaggan moved to Bangkok in 2007 to pursue his culinary dream. His namesake restaurant, Gaggan, opened in 2010 and has since repeatedly found itself winning awards, including being listed in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, and as the best restaurant in Asia last year for the second year running in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurant Awards.
Chef Gaggan’s pop-up restaurant in Dubai will serve ‘Indian progressive cuisine’ on March 3-5, 2017. Guests can enjoy over 15 courses from the ‘Best of Gaggan’ Tasting Menu. The menu promises to feature some of the chef’s signature dishes, which will only be revealed on the night, and the highlight will include a live demonstration by Chef Gaggan of one of the dishes.
Chef Gaggan’s degustation menu is priced at AED 825 per person and AED 1275 per person paired with the sommelier’s selection of wines. The Tasting Menu ensures to create an innovative culinary experience with a modern twist. Reservations are highly recommended as seating capacity will be limited to 40 guests per evening.
