November 1, 2012: Opus, a luxury publication house, has entered the Indian market with the global launch of the Official Formula 1 Opus, taking advantage of the recent F1 fever that gripped the country.
Through an alliance with RK Global, Opus will expand its presence in the Indian market. The official launch was celebrated at an event co-hosted by Amit Bhagchandka, Group CEO, RK Global, Karl Fowler, CEO and Founder, Opus Media Group and was attended by Bollywood superstar Anil Kapoor.
At half a meter square, 852 pages long and weighing 37kg, the Official Formula 1 Opus is the biggest and heaviest publication ever on Formula One racing. Each edition is hand-bound in the finest leather and silk, with over 50 per cent of the content newly and exclusively commissioned for the Opus.

The Official Formula1 Opus illuminates the history of this sport through numerous exclusive interviews and stunning imagery. There will be a limited number of only 100 Champions Editions, which will include a signature page hand signed by every living world champion driver. This edition will be protected in a black carbon-fibre clamshell case and will be offered for UK £20,000.
The Official Formula 1 Opus will be available in India in 2 editions: The Champions Edition (Price – £20,000) and The Classic Edition (Price – £2,000). In addition, the bidding for the much sought after Number 1 copy of the Official Formula 1 Opus also commenced as it embarks on a global tour visiting 20 countries around the world during the F1 calendar. It will ultimately return to Delhi to be auctioned for a collection of charities during the 2013 Grand Prix weekend.
