Panerai & Brabus’ next edition embrace the art of horology with high performance day boating

Made with Carbotech – a lighter material – the Submersible S BRABUS Verde Militare Edition has green accents that distinguish the watch.

For ages, Panerai has continued to deliver unprecedented watches that not only meet military requirements, but also have a powerful structure and brain to match. Continuing its partnership with luxury mobility brand Brabus, Panerai’s latest watch – the Submersible S BRABUS Verde Militare Edition – has an iconic design and redefined movement.

Panerai Brabus Submersible watch

Familiar features can be seen on the watch, but it conquers a league of its own through the use of new materials, and a completely reimagined signature design. The sophisticated Submersible S BRABUS Verde Militare Edition features a 47mm case composed of Carbotech, a composite material first used in watchmaking by Panerai. Crafted with lighter material, Carbotech is exactly what makes the watch truly stand out. Accents in military green also distinguish the watch with its subtle hue on the hands, rehaut, rubberized crown, am/pm indicator and the small seconds sub-dial. Lastly the BRABUS logo placed on the movement lever and loop showcase the collaborative character of the watch.

The watch is powered by a movement established on the foundation of the P.4000 caliber, the first automatic movement with an off-center micro-rotor developed by the Panerai Manufacture at Neuchâtel.

The iconic watch features a unidirectional rotating bezel to calculate immersion time and GMT function, while the one-piece, off-center oscillating weight permits bi-directional winding, whereby the two spring barrels efficiently wind the watch during wear. With its skeletonized structure, the bridges and plates have been winnowed to their barest elements to expose the workings of the movement and is also water resistant to 300 meters.

It comes with two straps: a black bi-material version composed of calf leather melded with a rubber base, and a second in military green rubber. The watch is a tribute to the new entry in the Brabus Marine Shadow series of luxury powerboats, also characterized by a stealth green hue.

The Submersible S BRABUS Verde Militare Edition is limited to 200 pieces.
