October 16, 2018: Panerai, the Florentine luxury watchmaking company, inaugurated its second boutique in Mumbai, India, at Palladium Mall. Panerai has collaborated with R&M Luxury, to deliver an exceptional retail experience for customers. The new boutique displays the collections of the Florentine company in a 350 sq. ft. area to enthusiasts and collectors.
The boutique remains consistent to the concept of interior design developed by Patricia Urquiola, the celebrated Spanish architect and designer, whose design is now adapted across all Panerai boutiques worldwide. The Spanish architect has used bronze and wood, undulating and transparent, a clear reference to the world of the sea – where the brand originates, as are the brass lights and the sales counters with their details of wood. The boutique also features a large Wall Clock, a large scale version of Panerai’s iconic watch dial. The latest of its watches, Panerai also displays the celebrated Fu watch for its consumers.
The boutique offers a luxurious, intimate space for clients which combines unique Italian design and Swiss watchmaking perfection, with each Panerai watch being as unique as the history it tells. With the new boutique in Mumbai, Panerai now has three boutiques in India, with the others located in Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Mumbai and The Chanakya Mall, New Delhi.
