July 15, 2021: The “KB2” clock (short for Kontwaz Bauhaus 2) is an outcome of a collaboration between Alain Silberstein, a well-known watch designer, and Philippe Lebru, the founder and director of the UTINAM Besancon timepiece company.
Limited to 88 pieces, KB2 is fully developed and crafted by the UTINAM manufacture. Its dial and hands use primary colors and geometric patterns, which are adequate to establish a distinctive design on their own. The fun shapes and shades make the watch as simple as complex.
Combining the characteristics of a Krono Bauhaus or other Silberstein clocks with a pendulum clock, identical to Lebru's "Pop-up" that was designed and constructed by the UTINAM company, this combination of horology, artistry, craftsmanship, and style is perfect to make any place pop.
With prices starting at Euros 22,000, and available at M.A.D. Gallery, this remarkable modern clock is one of the most prominent standard bearers for this renowned worldwide label.
