April 11, 2016: Swiss luxury watchmaker and jeweler, Piaget revisits its iconic Extremely Piaget High Jewelry Collection with a novel limited-edition line that celebrates the maison’s artistic passion and creativity.
The new capsule collection centers upon Piaget’s marquise diamond, an oval-shaped cut that sparkles up exquisite handcuffs. Split in three decors – palace, torsade and dentelle – the collection flaunts the brand’s unique techniques of wielding gold and precious stones.
In the “palace” sets, brilliant diamonds and colorful gems cascade down pink or white gold, creating shimmering textures that remind of wild silk – only with a sprinkle of additional radiance. The “torsade” pieces boast intricately weaved gold threads that capture contrasting turquoise and bluish-green chrysocolla. The “dentelle” ornaments are the finest of all. With brilliant-cut diamonds embroidered into gold, they evoke delicate lace that plays with light.
To best perpetuate the Extremely Piaget legacy of jewelry and watchmaking, the capsule collection has been designed with the intent to constantly expand and evolve.
