After collaborating with former elite athlete Maria Sharapova, Aman has named tennis star Novak Djokovic as its newest global ambassador. Aman has always been synonymous with a holistic and integrative wellness experience, nurturing mind, body, and spirit. So, it’s no surprise that the brand chose the tennis powerhouse, whose dedication to excellence mirrors Aman’s commitment to wellbeing.
In a multi-year partnership, Mr. Djokovic will leverage his decades of success to enhance Aman’s wellness offerings through exclusive programs and events that draw from his mental and physical well-being expertise, both on and off the court.
Mr. Djokovic will be actively involved in various initiatives across Aman’s properties, including special events for Aman Club and Residence owners, annual wellness retreats, and curated programs for guests year-round. Furthermore, he will play a key role in the future development of Aman Essentials, focusing on expanding the brand’s well-being products.
The 24-time Grand Slam champion has dominated the sport for over a decade with his relentless drive and unmatched skill. He holds a record ten Australian Open titles and has won a staggering 99 singles titles, including a record 72 Big Titles. Notably, Mr. Djokovic is the only man in tennis history to simultaneously hold all four major titles across three different surfaces. He was also appointed a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in 2015.
“To remain competitive at the highest level, over an extended time period, demands far more than skill. Over the years, I have cultivated a comprehensive daily wellness routine, combining mental health, nutrition and fitness, that has enabled me to achieve sustained success both on the global stage and in my personal life. Sharing those learnings with Aman guests will be both a privilege and a pleasure,” Mr. Djokovic said.
Ms. Sharapova, who is part of Aman’s wellness offerings, will host “Building Resilience: A Maria Sharapova Retreat” at Amanzoe in Greece from September 23 to 26. Moreover, her specially curated, half-day “Strength and Recovery” program is now available as part of Aman New York’s daily spa services.
