September 13, 2012: Sherle Wagner International, recognized as a premier source for luxury bathroom fittings, hardware and bath accessories, has now entered India with a store at the Oberoi Towers. Akanksha Aggarwal of PRA Ventures Pvt. Ltd. (PRAV) has been instrumental in bringing the brand to India.

The evening saw guests mingling over drinks and canapes. The illustrious guest faces also included Bollywood personalities like Kajol, Yash Chopra and Pammi Chopra, Sharman Joshi and Prerna Joshi, and Sohail Khan.

While an attempt was made to replicate the format of the New York store, due to the small space, the Mumbai store has more of a boutique feel where disparate collections are displayed as Vignettes coming together in harmony to create a beautiful boutique. A lot of detailed wood carving was carried out by local craftsmen, to match the quality and finish that is exhibited in Sherle Wagner products. Gold paint was used to border the ceilings to match some of the collections. Chandeliers hang from the ceilings to reflect the predominantly classic taste of Sherle Wagner.
Sherle Wagner in India will target the affluent families who work with the best interior designers in the country and who can appreciate the quality and brand value of Sherle Wagner products. Additionally Sherle Wagner will also be marketed to premium hotels and upscale residential developments.
