December 8, 2011: Swarovski Elements, the premium brand for the fine crystal elements, celebrated its 10th anniversary as a brand in India with an event hosted at the Austrian Embassy in New Delhi. The high point of the evening was a fashion show that featured both signature couture ensembles by leading Indian designers and pieces by India’s up-and-coming design talent. The Swarovski Kristallwelten set was designed by contemporary set designer Sumant Jayakrishnan. To mark Swarovski Element’s association with India, prominent designers and brands showcased their designs made with Swarovski Elements at the event, including designers like Darshi Keerthisena from Sri Lanka, Casa Paradox, Gaurav Gupta, Hameedia from Sri Lanka, JJ Valaya, Klove, Malini Ramani, Manav Gangwani, Manish Arora, Manoviraj Khosla, Rohit Bal, Shantanu-Nikhil, Stanley, Suneet Varma and Tarun Tahiliani among others.
The evening was both a celebration of the anniversary and the promise of a continued partnership with India’s designers in the decade to come.
