March 13, 2017: Chef Mario Paecke, Chef de Cuisine at Germany’s one Michelin starred restaurant Luce D’Oro, is presenting his signature cosmopolitan culinary style in a seven course degustation menu exclusively at The Oberoi, Gurgaon from 22 to 27 March, 2017.

Chef Mario Paecke's Bearbeitat at The Oberoi Gurgaon threesixtyoneChef Paecke’s signature dish is the Black Cod, Carrot, Pomelo and Gen Mai Chai, that represents his cuisine philosophy of minimalist use of ingredients, thereby allowing each ingredient to stand-out for its unique flavour. Apart from the Black Cod, the degustation menu at The Oberoi Gurgaon features homemade, German style oven fresh baked breads, Beetroot soup with Quail egg and horseradish, lamb saddle with celery, mustard and Tamarillo and Apple, Ginger and Toffee amongst other dishes.

The vegetarian menu features Celery, Peru Asparagus, Mustard and Tamarillo; and Romain lettuce, Cauliflower, Moprelle Mushrooms, Linseed among other dishes.

The Oberoi, Gurgaon’s resident Sommelier Rakesh Awaghade has paired the seven course menu with wines from the restaurant’s cellar of rare and specialty vintages from around the world.

The special seven course menu will be available for lunch and dinner at the hotel’s threesixtyoneËš restaurant.
