This camp in Botswana welcomes only 24 adventurers into their hidden haven

African Bush Camps and Atzaró Group have leveraged the pristine wilderness of Botswana for a select few luxury and adventure indulgers. Recently unveiled in mid-April through the collaboration, Atzaro Okavango Camp invites only 24 discerning travelers to indulge in their eco-conscious opulent camp.

Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site at Atzaro Okavango, this expansive 60-acre haven is nestled amidst rivers, lagoons, and arid terrain along the banks of the Okavango River. Preservation efforts and the essence of lavish living are well harmonized in this camp created by Victor Guasch from the esteemed Atzaró Group, and Beks Ndlovu, the visionary founder of African Bush Camps.

While the camp offers boundless opportunities for adventure aficionados, it also caters abundantly to connoisseurs of arts. A delightful nod to diverse tribal cultures is evident in the presence of artworks and crafts originating from regions such as Benin, the Congo, Ethiopia, and the Tuareg people, adorning the surroundings with cultural richness.

Serving as a veritable living museum, the camp boasts ten majestic river stone sculptures, each meticulously embodying a tree species indigenous to the Okavango Delta.

Eight suites and two sprawling villas, measuring 1,740 and 4,130 square feet, are masterfully crafted using reclaimed tree roots, canvas, and the ethereal essence of natural crystal rock. Each suite offers a private oasis, featuring a secluded plunge pool, both indoor and al fresco bathing facilities, and the comforting embrace of air conditioning.

The villas elevate the experience, boasting exclusive amenities such as secluded fire pits and celestial sky beds, offering guests the celestial spectacle of slumbering beneath the heavens.
