This new hotel in LA will take you back to the era of the glamorous Pan Am airline!

Featuring nostalgia, The Pan Am Hotel by Hilton and Grand Fountain are set to open at Citadel Outlets in Spring 2026.

Citadel Outlets, a well-known shopping destination for international visitors in Los Angeles, is set to welcome The Pan Am Hotel by Hilton in late spring 2026. Alongside it, The Grand Fountain will be introduced as a landmark feature between the hotel and the retail space. Together, they mark a shift in how the outlet center is shaping its identity—not just as a place to shop, but as a thoughtfully designed destination that reflects the expectations of today’s global traveler.

The Pan Am Hotel, part of Hilton’s Tapestry Collection, takes its design cues from the mid-century aesthetics of the original Pan Am era. Its iconic globe logo will beckon guests to a different, nostalgic world! Think Pan Am inspired artworks and chandeliers.

However, if you think retro will be the theme, travelers will be pleasantly surprised to see more contemporary aesthetics where wood, marble and fabric textures combine to offer a modern stay, but in the glamourous style of the Pan Am airlines. Pan Am, after all, was a symbol of modernity in its time.

But beyond the visuals, the hotel aims to bring a sense of ease and familiarity to international guests. It will offer two full-service restaurants, a gym, and rooms that come with built-in travel-friendly features.

One such amenity – conceived by Craig Realty Group President Steven L. Craig himself — includes custom-designed storage areas built specifically to accommodate two oversized suitcases, a nod to the needs of travelers who often shop or journey with extra-large luggage. Craig Realty Group has developed and manages Citadel Outlets in Los Angeles.

That kind of attention reflects a bigger goal—to offer travelers not just a place to stay, but a space that understands their pace. A room that feels organized. A check-in process that doesn’t add more to their day. And a location that makes exploring Los Angeles easier, not more complicated.

Mr. Craig said, “Our vision for Citadel Outlets has always been to create more than just a shopping center—we’re building a global destination that inspires wonder and connection. With the addition of the Pan Am Hotel by Hilton and The Grand Fountain, we’re reimagining what’s possible—bringing together design, innovation, and hospitality to deliver something truly unforgettable.”

The hotel’s location—just ten minutes from Downtown LA and within reach of Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, and Orange County—adds to its practical value. Citadel Outlets has long been a favorite for visitors looking for access to international luxury brands at outlet prices, and this next step deepens that relationship.

Right outside the hotel, the Grand Fountain will become a central spot between the shopping area and the hotel. Designed by WET Design—the team behind the famous Bellagio Fountain in Las Vegas—it will bring together water, light, fire, and motion to create a space where people can take a break, meet up with others, or just enjoy the view.

What makes The Pan Am Hotel stand out is its focus on the everyday needs of travelers. It’s built for the times in between—when people aren’t out exploring but need a quiet, useful space to rest, get organized, or plan their next move. It offers comfort and practical features that make staying there feel easy and familiar, especially for those who are far from home.
