Tiffany & Co. has officially opened its flagship store in Mexico City’s Masaryk district, a location known for high-end fashion and design. This marks a key point in the House’s growth across Latin America, bringing its global presence to a wider audience. The store reflects the brand’s iconic Fifth Avenue location, The Landmark.
The exterior of the 878-square-meter space features handcrafted ceramic tiles set beautifully in a blue gradient that reflects Tiffany’s well-known hue. The façade also includes mosaic birds, inspired by Jean Schlumberger’s Bird on a Rock design, a piece that has remained part of the brand since 1965. These details pay tribute to Louis Comfort Tiffany’s early 20th-century mosaic work, linking the store to the brand’s artistic history.
Inside, the store reflects Tiffany’s iconic style, paired with local Mexican design influences. Key collections, Lock, HardWear, T, and Knot are all displayed, alongside a dedicated watch section and a High Jewelry salon. A ceramic wall by Mauricio Paniagua and Tony Moxham, along with custom lamps by Perla Valtierra, bring in work by Mexican creators.
There’s also a diamond vitrine, private salons, and a bar area inspired by the architecture of Palacio de Bellas Artes. A section dedicated to Home & Accessories adds to the range of the offering.
The store also features Latin America’s first Blue Box Café, developed in collaboration with Chef Edo López. The café offers a menu that spans from breakfast to tea time, combining local Mexican flavors with the Tiffany & Co. setting.
This expansion reflects Tiffany’s broader retail strategy, investing in locations with strong brand alignment and market potential.
