Timothy Oulton launches global flagship store in London

August 23, 2018: Timothy Oulton, the luxury British furniture making brand, is going to open the door to its worldwide flagship store in London from September 1, 2018, bringing a manifesto expression of everything it stands for: heritage, innovation, creativity and hospitality under one roof, in the historic Bluebird Garage on the storied King’s Road in Chelsea.

The brand and the venue share the same values of  pioneering spirit, fearlessness, and dedication to relevance which now have become a central part of its future presence in London and worldwide.

The new 7,200 sq ft gallery will feature the largest retail display of Timothy Oulton collections anywhere in the world, alongside certain limited editions exclusive to Bluebird, such as the daring Westminster Jack’dN Brok’n sofa, the effortlessly sophisticated Shabby modular sofa, the iconic Aviator Tomcat chair, the timeless Saddle chair in Buck’dN Brok’n, the floor-standing Rex mirror, and the Odeon chandelier. 

The store would also display  an aray of antiques from Rare by Oulton, procured and curated by Tim, and includes part of one of the world’s largest collections of customised Louis Vuitton trunks alongwith many other exemplery works of art.

Mr. Oulton says, “Inviting people into our home has always been at the core of our ethos, so we’re passionate that the gallery at Bluebird shows our home at its absolute best, and is not only a great furniture destination but it’s also a place to host and connect with people.” 

Timothy Oulton has been evolving since 2008, marking 10 years since its first opening in Los Angeles. The brand is also present in some of the world’s great cities including New York, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Sydney, New Delhi, Moscow, and in London at Heal’s, Harrods, and now Bluebird.
