March 2, 2011: Luxury French trunk makers T.T. Trunks have launched their services in India through Ville-de Luxurie.
According to Damien Finot and Julien Trossat, co-founders of TT Trunks, “We designed our trunks in order to meet the lifestyle of the XXI century, which is more mobile, more interconnected. In addition to their intrinsic functions, our trunks are equipped with applications to allow recharging portable devices such as your computer or telephone. Thus, no matter where you are in the world, you stay connected.”
Mr Finot, when asked about the most obvious competitor, Louis Vuitton, replied unflinchingly that TT Trunks cannot be compared with Louis Vuitton. “We are very different from LV. For one, we complete the order much faster than Louis Vuitton – in around three months. Also, our range of designs and facilities offered are a lot vaster,” he said.
Each product is available in a wide range of materials, colours, finishes and linings, as well as a choice of personal stampings and embroideries. Following the highest standards in the industry, more than 200 hours of work go into the completion of a single trunk and many of the steps are completed by hand to ensure the product’s longevity and durability.
T.T. Trunks are available in an array of sizes and can be made to fit the office, car, closet contents, wine collection, computer, yacht, jet, or specific carry case. Like traditional trunks, each features handles, wheels and protection for vertical positioning, making it extremely mobile.
