Ugg Australia and Jimmy Choo limited edition collaboration

2010: Jimmy Choo recently revealed the result of its collaboration with Ugg Australia. A limited edition capsule collection, based on the iconic UGG Australia sheepskin boot construction with quintessential Jimmy Choo design details, was launched by the brand.

Encompassing five styles in multiple colour variations, the collection features classic Ugg boots with decorative Jimmy Choo studding, stars, grommets, leopard, zebra and hobo fringing detail. The colour palette includes black, chestnut, chocolate, charcoal diamond Donegal cable knit, cream/black zebra, charcoal/black zebra and natural leopard print.

The Mandah boot, a myriad of silver and gold grommet, rivet and domed studding in a patchwork of glittering detail and graphic attitude on a black boot, features in the Cruise 2011 Jimmy Choo advertising campaign. The Kala is a classic Ugg boot silhouette with a glamorous twist of leopard and zebra printed lambsuede with grommet and domed studs in an antique finish. Starlit has a Jimmy Choo rock star edge with silver stars all over on black lambsuede and antique brass stars on chestnut lambsuede with a silkee suede fringe detail. Sora has a top cuff chic feature detail on two layers of silkee suede fringe with silver star studded trim on black twinface and antique brass star studded trim on chestnut and chocolate twinface. Siobhan is a Donegal Cable knit cashmere blend boot detailed with antique nickel studs, lambsuede fringe detailed with antique nickel double faced studs.

The boots will be available in limited distribution only at Jimmy Choo and UGG Australia stores. The collaboration products will be available on the jimmychoo.com and ugg.com websites. The capsule collection will be available in stores from October 21, 2010. Unfortunately, the special collection won’t be available in India.
