January 12, 2016: Watchmaker and master enamelling brand, Vacheron Constantin, continues its Métiers d’Art La Légende du Zodiaque Chinois series with a magnificent year of the monkey inspired timepiece.
Handcrafted using Grand Feu enameling original to Geneva, this collection showcases an expertise only a handful of particularly skilled artisans own. This method lays the enamel in successive layers, enhancing the blue or bronze-toned dial in a way that can only be taught through years of experience. Vacheron Constantin pays tribute to the Chinese New Year with a hand engraved platinum or gold monkey delicately placed in the center of the dial.
The collection flawlessly combines artistic craftsmanship with the technical excellence of Caliber 2460 G4. Limited to a mere twelve models each, these two new additions to the Métiers d’Art La Légende du Zodiaque Chinois series are only available through Vacheron Constantin boutiques.
