Master of cashmeres and sartorial style, Zegna’s Oasi Cashmere extends its creative line in collaboration, and the first in the series is California-based The Elder Statesman.
Soon after its riveting teaser look during the Fall Winter 2023 fashion show in Milan, Zegna unveiled the entire collection. With sustainability and vertical craftsmanship at the core of ethos, the partnership starts with a collection that traverses various heritage Zegna styles reimagined in vibrant colors, off-kilter patterns, rich textures, and relaxed cuts.
Plaids referencing nostalgic Southern California sun-bleached flannels are woven in the finest cashmere button-down shirts, long shorts and trousers. Felt bucket hats and fitted baseball caps, and brushed cashmere slip-ons bring out an easy-going personality of the collection.
Alessandro Sartori, Artistic Director of Zegna says, “Dialogues like this allow us to add new layers to our world, finding other expressions to Oasi Cashmere. We worked on this collection completely together, merging our shapes with The Elder Statesman’s distinctive colors and all-pervading spontaneity. It’s the very idea of cross pollination, which is what happens in Oasi Zegna as a natural organism, and can be turned into a business and creative model which allows us to reach out a new audience”.
The collection has a classical amalgamation of Mr. Sartori’s elegant styling and The Elder Statesman’s Californian sense of luxury. It will be available from September 2023.
