Packaged in a classic white box with black bordering and the sleek Chanel branding, one look at it will make you want to open the product immediately. Complete with a small information booklet, the product comes in a 30 ml tube for easy storing and travelling, as it will invariably be added to your essentials list.
With a delicate scent, the soft, sheer, velvety texture is truly surprising, and at first look you may feel that it may show up too much on your skin. My first reaction as I applied the cream in small dots and blended it in was that the shade was too light and I was going to land up looking like a white ghost (they have only one shade). As I continued to blend, I noticed that the product seeps and moisturises, making the product seem one with your skin. Rich and light, it provides maximum comfort and long-lasting coverage for a natural-looking finish. Simply put, the skin is dressed to perfection. It feels fresh, smooth and ready to take on the world!
Keep in mind that the texture of this CC Cream is thick. On one hand, the product glides on, but on the other, it feels a bit thick. It offers quite a lot of coverage so try not to dab on too much at once. Instead work with layering the product as and where you need it.
Chanel is very long-wearing, even in Mumbai’s sweltering heat. It just did not move at all. Together with the SPF rating, this makes Chanel a good choice for Mumbai girls. For me, because of the dark circles, I applied the product to even out my skin tone and then added the Benefit concealer under my eyes. You can also use this as a primer/tinted base to layer beneath your usual foundation. It will help even out texture and tone so you will need less makeup. Plus, the radiance it gives your skin will still show through which is nice.
All in all, a great product that every girl should keep handy, one because it’s Chanel, and second because it gives you naturally looking radiant skin all day long!
