November 20, 2019 – A 15-day food festival which unravels the mysteries of Qaisar Bagh Palace and explores the royal etiquettes of dining and living is the Jashn-E-Lucknow food festival at Edesia, Crowne Plaza Today New Delhi Okhla. Embark a culinary journey to the city of ‘Chikan’ and ‘Kebabs’ as they recreate the culinary bylanes of Hazratganj, Chowk and Aminabad right here in Delhi.

Feast like a Nawab as the ‘Bawarchis’ (Chefs) at Edesia whip up secret recipes from the royal ‘Dastarkhwans’ and iconic eateries of Lucknow. The secret recipes include Galauti Kebab with Ulta tawa paratha, Murgh Malai Kebab, Baked Badam ka shorba, Paya Yakhani Shorba, Murgh Lucknawi Korma, Sheermal, Taftan, Kulfi and the list of delicacies are endless!

An ode to the last Nawab of Awadh Wajid Ali Shah, Edesia has been transformed to the spectacular Qaisar Bagh palace built by the Nawab himself with mesmerizing royal elements which include: Royal Dastarkhwan/Bawarchi Khana, Pari Khana (where queens used to live), Jilaun Khana (Jail), Madhushala (the bar), Royal décor elements such as Bughhi, Meena Bazaar (Marketplace to buy Lucknawi Chikankari kurtas and other regional handicrafts) 

Mr. Sumit Sinha, Director of Food and Beverage, Crowne Plaza Today New Delhi Okhla said, “Regional cuisines are witnessing an unprecedented popularity in the last few months. With Jashn-E-Lucknow, we give our guests a taste from the royal kitchens of Awadh. We are also recreating the iconic street food joints of Lucknow as they are the soul of the cuisine.” 

The festival will continue till November 30, 2019.
