Armed with its new capsule collection, FENDI is topping the music and creativity charts in collaboration with popular singer, songwriter and the Maison’s brand ambassador in China, Jackson Wang. The “FENDI x Jackson Wang Capsule Collection”, produced under the creative direction of Silvia Venturini Fendi, is finally here to make heads turn and jaws drop.
With Mr. Wang’s cool, effortless and recognizable style and FENDI DNA, the collection breaks the boundaries between fashion and music with its modern yet luxurious vibe.
Featuring a selection of ready-to-wear pieces, a Baguette bag, a clutch and a baseball hat, as well as running sneakers and slide sandals; the black color and the tone-on-tone iconic FF logo are signatures of the capsule connection, which also has an exclusive touch with a special ‘FENDI Team Wang’ logo.
The ready to wear collection consists of a formal suit and more easy-to-wear and comfortable pieces like jumpers, t-shirts and trousers. The shoes showcase the Maison’s attention to details and love for experimentation including the FF logo and velvety details. While the running sneakers are realized in technical knit, the slide sandals feature an innovative air sole. A baseball hat in chenille with the FF logo all-over is the cherry on the very delicious cake that is this collection.
The FENDI x Jackson Wang Capsule Collection has launched in select 33 FENDI boutiques and on fendi.cn. To celebrate this collaboration, a special and playful, 3.3 meters high and 2 meters wide panda installation, titled FENDIDI (meaning FENDI’s little brother), exclusively designed by FENDI and artist Oscar Wang, will be standing at the entrance of Shamao Street at Chengdu IFS until July 28, 2019. FENDIDI is a real trendsetter and believes “F IS FOR…FUN, FRIENDS, FANTASY and FUNK.
