July 24, 2013: Indian luxury jewellery brand Ganjam hosted an elegant crowd at the Ganjam Jaipur Trophy 2013. Celebrated in the splendid settings of the historic Guards Polo Club in Berkshire, London, the event was a tribute to Her Highness the late Rajmata Gayatri Devi, who initiated this tournament about four decades ago, in memory of her husband.
Now in its 8th consecutive year, the lush green lawns of the Duke’s Ground in Windsor Great Park played host to members of aristocracy, the royal family, renowned celebrities and famous socialites. The Polo match, which was the first event of the day, was played between Sifani/ Shakib Polo and Black Eagles, with Lady Annabel Lindsay and Dushyanth Ganjam presiding over the proceedings.
The event also saw jewellery been exhibited from Ganjam which was on display at the Club House for all invitees. The stunning pieces on display from the collections Gerbera, Ikat, Exotica, Nizam, Le Jardin, Heritage and Riverdance left onlookers and connoisseurs mesmerized at the intricacy and the quality of craftsmanship.
Ganjam is the only Indian brand to be associated with the royal game of Polo in the United Kingdom since 2006.
