Add colour onto your sweetheart’s cheeks with a variety of gifts that spell ‘love’ like nothing else.
Ever wondered why everything associated with the most powerful feelings is symbolized by the colour red? Red is often associated with lust, passion, beauty, love and even anger! Simply put, red is a colour that symbolizes Cupid as well as the Devil. Add a little white to this dynamic color, and you’ve got yourself a tickled pink – the colour of universal love. This February, love is in the air as brands all over the world pick up on the romance radar and incorporate the colours of ‘love’ and the theme of romance in everything they do – in the smallest and biggest of ways!
According to Alok Aggarwal, owner of Cibo and Veda, New Delhi, “Red is the colour of life and blood and is a very fiery, forceful and determined colour”. Nothing says “I love you” better than a red flower, a red heart shaped chocolate box or any other romantic gift that fancies your romantic thoughts! Aggarwal adds, “Red can be used throughout the year, not necessarily during V Day, but yes, during the month of February, brands tend to use this colour in a variety of forms as it induces the feeling of romance in the consumer”.
Red seems to hold a special place for Gaurav Bhatia, Marketing Director at Moët Hennessy India and a luxury expert. He feels that romance deserves a unique celebration and a personal expression. “At Moët & Chandon, it is the Rosé Impérial which is the quintessence of all things romantic and glamorous. It is undoubtedly the most extroverted and seductive expression of the world’s oldest luxury brand,” he said.
Every year, Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial offers a unique innovation to bring inValentine’s Day. They are objets d’art with tactile experiences that add to the joy of sharing Moët & Chandon with that special someone. This time, Moët & Chandon offers a limited-edition ‘Tag Your Moët Rosé’ Coffret where the message is in the bottle and on the bottle! The coffret includes a bottle of pink-clad bottle of Moët Rosé, two special-edition flutes and a gold marker with which you can inscribe your very own message for your loved one. Says Bhatia, “I always recommend keeping a chilled bottle of the Moët Rosé at home – it is the perfect way to turn on the romance!”
