Seasons often mark time in fleeting ways, and Rolls-Royce has chosen to hold onto one of the most delicate of them. The marque has introduced Spectre Inspired by Primavera, a bespoke series shaped around the mood and imagery of spring. Drawing from the Italian word for the season, the series translates its sense of light, renewal and brief brilliance into a permanent form through design and detail.
The Spectre Inspired by Primavera series includes three distinct interpretations, Evanescent, Reverie, and Blossom. Each motor car carries details that point directly to the season, such as hand-painted cherry blossom motifs, a newly designed 23-inch alloy wheel inspired by a flower in bloom, and interiors finished with elements that capture the vitality of spring. Commissioning for this series is open until the beginning of next year, with first deliveries expected ahead of spring 2026.
Martina Starke, Head of Bespoke Design, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, said, “Spring is a moment of celebration in cultures around the world. It is associated with youth and romance, the return of light and warmth after the darkness of winter. Its joyous transformation is swift and fleeting, which makes it all the more precious. In Spectre Inspired by Primavera, we captured the emotions this moment brings for clients to enjoy all year round. There is a wonderful contrast in this Bespoke series: the transience of the season, expressed through the permanence of a Rolls-Royce. Spectre Inspired by Primavera reflects the constant evolution of Rolls-Royce Bespoke, which is shaped by the ever-changing imaginations of our clients.”
The cherry blossom motif appears across both exterior and interior features. Each design began with a hand-sketch by a Rolls-Royce Bespoke designer, which was later digitised and applied as motifs to the coachline, treadplates, and embroidered headrests. The interiors also include Blackwood fascia and centre consoles engraved with expansive cherry boughs. To create the right contrast against the polished wood, the process required experimenting with 37 different laser densities and developing a special sanding technique that preserved detail without losing finish.
Illuminated elements extend the theme further. Each motor car includes treadplates etched with the Primavera name and Starlight Doors featuring 4,796 hand-placed illuminations. The Illuminated Fascia adds another 5,500 points of light, arranged as an abstract constellation that references spring skies in the Northern Hemisphere.
The three expressions interpret spring through distinct palettes. Evanescent reflects the wildflower landscape of spring with a Crystal over Arctic White exterior paired with Turchese accents across the coachline, cherry blossom motif, wheel centres, and brake callipers. The interior features Grace White leather with Turchese highlights and Chartreuse piping. Reverie is finished in Duck Egg Blue with Forge Yellow accents on the exterior and brake callipers. Its interior brings together Grace White and Charles Blue leather, lifted by Forge Yellow details for contrast.
Blossom is the most vibrant of the three, carrying a Velvet Orchid Metallic exterior with Forge Yellow on the coachline, wheel centres, and brake callipers. The cabin pairs Grace White leather with Peony Pink accents, completed by Forge Yellow piping.
Spectre Inspired by Primavera is offered only for a limited period, yet its intent is clear. The fleeting moments of spring are preserved within bespoke design, giving clients a way to hold on to the season long after it has passed. With this series, Rolls-Royce shows how its commissions continue to evolve by adapting to ideas that are emotional, cultural, and deeply personal.
