Sans Souci’s new chandelier embodies the spirit of the Spanish Flamenco dancers

A Czech lighting brand, Sans Souci’s Flamenco can be assembled in various patterns and designs

Sans Souci Flamenco chandelier

February 2, 2021: Czech lighting giant Sans Souci, well-known for crafting bespoke decorative lighting fixtures, glass objects and architecture features, has launched the stunning new chandelier Flamenco.

Designed by Jiri Krisica, Flamenco features hand-blown glass pieces in a whimsical optical pattern, which are hung from the ceiling with polished stainless steel strings. Smitten with Spainʼs sights as well as its culture, Krisica was particularly touched by Andalusian flamenco dancers. Their performance, filled with emotion and passion, prompted him to imprint the movement and atmosphere into glass. This piece has been formed to resemble the undulation of the dancersʼ skirts. The edges are equally waved, enhancing the overall dynamism.
