Ulysse Nardin unveils a new iteration of the Dual Time watch

The Swiss watchmaker presents its most well-known timepiece in a new, urbane look

September 12, 2020: Ulysse Nardin has redesigned its celebrated Dual Time watch, a series which has garnered a lot of attention from watch enthusiasts, especially travelers, given its patented time zone adjustment, invented by the company in 1994. The latest and renewed Dual Time styles are a part of the Executive Collection.

Ergonomic and elegant, the new models share the same case as the 2019’s Skeleton X watch series, with its iconic three-horns signature, and Roman numerals at twelve, three, six and nine o’clock.

Equipped with the UN 24 dual time movement, the watch has permanent home time display and instant time zone with patented time zone setting. The ‘+’ and ‘-’ pushers located opposite the crown ensure adjustment of the hand forward or backward and the self-winding movement is visible through the exhibition case back.

The dial, also inspired by the Skeleton series’, is 42 mm in dimensions and features an oversized small seconds hand register at 6 o’clock and a large date in a double window at two o’clock. There are two variants available in terms of the case – 18 carat rose gold or stainless steel, depending on the model.

There are three editions in the new dual-time series. The Dual Time Black in stainless steel, Dual Time Blue in stainless steel and Dual Time Rose Gold. All three variants come in rubber as well as alligator straps. The watches come with a power reserve of 42 hours and water resistance of upto 50 meters. The new dual-time watches are priced at $8,300 (steel) and $22,800 (rose gold).
