Iconic luxury brand Berluti has announced its collaboration with French actor Victor Belmondo for the upcoming Spring-Summer 2025 collection. A celebration of heritage and modernity, the tie-in between the actor, who is himself of both French and Italian roots, matches the richness of the maison‘s long history of artisanship and style.
“Victor Belmondo personifies the Berluti spirit – that fusion of heritage and modernity, elegance and audacity. We’re extremely pleased to have Victor join us as a Friend of the Maison, and to share our vision of remarkable allure with him. At Berluti, we cultivate the art of passing down legacy. Victor Belmondo helps us write a new chapter in our story, with a dialogue between generations that reinvents the classic style codes with a fresh force and simplicity,” Berluti’s CEO, Jean-Marc Mansvelt, said.
Mr. Belmondo’s approach to menswear classics is evident in the Spring-Summer 2025 collection, where each ensemble revolves around Berluti’s iconic footwear. From the Alessandro and Andy boots to the Oslo and Escale loafers, the collection also features enticing leather accessories and ensembles.
Carrying a legacy of entertainment and motorsports, the actor brings a unique elegance to Berluti. Born to racing driver Paul Belmondo and television presenter Luana Belmondo, he is the grandson of legendary actor Jean-Paul Belmondo. He recently featured in the 2024 French drama To Live, to Die, to Live Again.
“For me, elegance is a form of attentiveness and curiosity, and Berluti epitomizes that in its character and style. I’m excited to be part of writing the Maison’s next chapter, like a shared dialogue between France and Italy,” Mr. Belmondo said.
Beyond his acting prowess, Mr. Belmondo’s association with Berluti extends his influence into the realm of fashion, enriching the brand’s narrative with a contemporary interpretation of luxury menswear.
The actor’s collaboration with Berluti for Spring-Summer 2025 promises a collection that reflects his personal style journey as well as heralds an exciting chapter in both his career and the maison’s legacy.
