Tiffany & Co. has named Natalie Portman, Academy Award-winning actress, producer and director, as its latest global ambassador, a role that brings together two names that have individually stood for craft, intention and lasting relevance.

The announcement comes with a print campaign already in motion, shot by photographer Gordon von Steiner at The Landmark, Tiffany’s flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York. Portman appears wearing pieces from four of the house’s signature collections: HardWear by Tiffany, Knot by Tiffany, Sixteen Stone by Tiffany, and T by Tiffany. Each collection has its own personality, from bold and structural to sleek and minimal, and together they present Portman as someone who fits across all of them naturally.
Anthony Ledru, President and CEO of Tiffany & Co., said, “Natalie’s sophistication, authenticity and intelligence resonate deeply with Tiffany & Co.’s values. Elegant and courageous, she effortlessly embodies the modern Tiffany woman. We are honored to welcome her to the Tiffany & Co. family as we continue to shape the future of luxury through powerful storytelling.”
Luxury brands have been working hard in recent years to stay desirable to older audiences while also connecting with a younger generation that values substance over image. Portman fits that brief convincingly. She graduated with a degree in psychology from Harvard University while simultaneously filming major studio productions, has been consistently vocal about causes she believes in, and has always been selective about the projects and partnerships she lends her name to. That kind of track record carries real weight.
“It is an honor to be Tiffany & Co.’s newest global House ambassador. The House has an incredibly rich heritage and is beloved for its unparalleled craftsmanship and creative excellence. I am excited to be a part of the Tiffany & Co. legacy,” Portman said.
The Star Wars actress also starred in a Tiffany & Co. campaign film, which was unveiled at the 98th Academy Awards. Tiffany has a well-documented history of connecting with Hollywood, most famously through the 1961 film Breakfast at Tiffany’s, which did more for the brand’s cultural standing than any traditional advertisement could have.
Tiffany & Co. has been a New York institution since 1837, and its acquisition by French luxury group LVMH in 2021 in a deal worth approximately $15.8 billion, the largest in luxury industry history at the time, marked a significant new chapter for the house. In the years since, serious resources have gone into rebuilding its cultural presence, from renovating The Landmark flagship on Fifth Avenue to bringing in major names including Beyoncé and Jay-Z as brand ambassadors. Portman joins that roster as the house continues to push forward with its global ambitions.
