Reservations are open for spring 2027 sailings as Aman extends its ultra-luxury philosophy to the open sea.

Aman is officially setting sail. The ultra-luxury hospitality brand has unveiled inaugural itineraries for Amangati, its first ocean-going motor yacht, marking a major expansion of the Aman experience beyond land-based resorts. Reservations are now open for the yacht’s debut Mediterranean season, which will begin in Spring 2027.

Amangati Aman at Sea

Currently under construction, Amangati has been conceived as a floating expression of Aman’s core values: privacy, space, and tranquillity. The 180-metre, nine-deck yacht will host just 94 guests across 47 expansive suites, an unusually low guest count for a vessel of its size. Suites range from 68 to 354 square metres, each featuring a private terrace—offering a level of personal space rarely seen at sea.

Despite its scale, Amangati is designed to feel intimate. Interiors draw inspiration from the quiet restraint of a Japanese ryokan, with full-height windows, muted materials, and seamless indoor-outdoor flow that maintains a constant connection to the surrounding seascape. The result is an atmosphere that mirrors an Aman resort—calm, understated, and deliberately unhurried.

Wellness, as always with Aman, plays a central role on board. Spanning more than 1,190 square metres across two decks, the Aman Spa is the largest of its kind at sea. It features eight ocean-facing treatment suites with private terraces, open-air whirlpool baths, a hammam, and a banya, alongside serenity zones designed for rest and reflection. Guests also have access to a Fitness Studio, Medi Spa, Medical Centre, and Beauty Lounge, as well as daily programming including yoga and meditation.

Life on deck extends naturally to the water. The Selora Marina and Lounge serves as a hub for exploration, offering water sports equipment, open-air pools, and sun decks that invite guests to engage directly with the sea.

Dining aboard Amangati reflects Aman’s focus on seasonality and provenance. Culinary offerings span multiple venues, from all-day Mediterranean cuisine at Alira to Japanese washoku and teppanyaki at Akari & Hiori, alongside the more elemental Aman Grill. In-suite dining is available around the clock, with menus drawn directly from the yacht’s restaurants.

Evenings at sea are enhanced by entertainment spaces that include The Jazz Club, designed to bring a sense of occasion to nights on board, as well as a Cinema and Youth Lounge for more informal moments.

Amangati’s maiden Mediterranean season will feature a series of five- to eight-night voyages. Itineraries explore destinations ranging from the Roman heritage of the Dalmatian Coast to the Moorish architecture of southern Spain and the glamour of the French Riviera, with access to smaller, rarely visited ports such as Beaulieu-sur-Mer.

In keeping with Aman’s philosophy of honouring the spirit of place, the journeys avoid conventional cruise schedules. Late departures, overnight stays, and sailings timed to coincide with cultural events—including the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix—allow for deeper immersion. One standout moment exclusive to Amangati is a rare passage through Venice’s historic Grand Canal, gliding past landmarks such as St. Mark’s Square before departing the lagoon at sunset.

Onshore experiences are curated with the same attention to detail. Guests can expect bespoke cultural, artistic, and historical programmes, supported by concierge-led exploration and seamless arrivals and departures via the yacht’s two helipads and six tenders.

Throughout each voyage, a dedicated Suite Host ensures discreet, intuitive service, reinforcing the sense of privacy that defines the Aman experience.

With Amangati, Aman translates its vision of sanctuary and seclusion into motion, creating what it describes as a true private superyacht experience rather than a traditional cruise. Reservations for the inaugural season are now open, marking a new chapter for the brand as it brings its distinctive luxury approach to the world’s seas.
