Aman Group heads for an energizing new chapter with Janu Dubai

After Janu Tokyo, Aman group announces its second upcoming destination, Janu Dubai.

Aman Group is all set to expand its presence in Dubai with a new venture, Janu Dubai.  Scheduled for inauguration in 2027, the property is nestled in the bustling business heart of Dubai International Financial District (DIFC).

It is in close proximity to world-class retail, restaurants, entertainment venues, and Downtown Dubai. The vicinity will offer exquisite views of the skyline, including the iconic Burj Khalifa, and beautiful garden views.

Alia Developments owns the Janu project, which is designed by leading Pritzker Prize-winning architects Herzog & de Meuron. H&H Development, also a shareholder of the project, will serve as the development manager.

The property will boast 150 hotel keys, including a few demarcated Janu branded residences and a member’s club. The property will furnish an assortment of distinct dining and bar concepts, event spaces, and a wellness and fitness center. It will allow guests to breathe in nature as the property will be outfitted with spacious outdoor terraces, balconies and gardens.

This is the latest venture set forth by the Aman Group, following the successful launch of the brand’s inaugural flagship hotel, Janu Tokyo, in March 2024, which made an endurable impression on the city, giving luxury hospitality a new meaning by enticing guests with its curated experience encompassing the dining scene and landmark wellness center. Aman Group had also recently disclosed its plan to open Aman Dubai right along the Jumeirah Beach strip.

Speaking about his vision for Janu, Vlad Doronin, Chairman and CEO of Aman Group, said, “Following the successful opening of Janu Tokyo, the announcement of Janu Dubai marks my

continued commitment to solidifying Janu’s robust pipeline and advancing our strategic vision for the future of luxury hospitality. I am pleased to collaborate with Shahab Lutfi and his team at H&H Development, whose deep market insight will enable us to deliver another exceptional Janu destination for the new generation of travelers seeking connection and exploration.”

The announcement of Janu Dubai solidifies Aman Group’s commitment to the Middle East, with upcoming properties confirmed in Saudi Arabia as well, specifically at AlUla, Wadi Safar, and Diriyah Gate.
