About the collection, Mr. Madan said, “I am thrilled to have showcased this season at Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI! Untamed, as a collection, is more powerful and bold, and it was heartwarming and encouraging to witness the reaction and feedback on it. For us, everything this season was about ‘emotion’ and how you express yourself by means of your attire.”

The Delhi based designer was inspired by the elegance and grandeur of the Italian icon, Monica Bellucci, and was determined to create a fashion line that exudes her innate sense of vigor and style. The influence could be seen as the designer opened the show with a reenacted iconic scene from Ms. Bellucci’s movie, and showed a transition from reel to real on the ramp.

The silhouettes directed to a more modern power dressing with bodycon dresses, bodysuits, jumpsuits, corsets, trousers, miniskirts and pencil skirts. The collection had newer textiles and prints, bountiful interpretation of leopard print as well as solid statement pieces.

Plunge and broad neckline, cinched waist, shoulder pads and formal coats had quite an interesting presence. A splendid synthesis of faux leather with latex, jersey, luxury satin, mesh, luxury cotton, shimmer lycra fabric, sequins, and tulle was also seen. Sophisticated yet bold, more than 60 pieces collection are presented in the range of black, white, red and lighter hues of silver and pink.
