Christian Louboutin unveiled the Men’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection, presented by Jaden Smith, through an immersive experience built around the idea of a lost ancient civilization defined entirely by the color red.

The maison‘s iconic red, a signature since 1992, is repositioned for SS27 as the foundation of an entire imagined world. Christian Louboutin and Smith describe it as a “red kingdom,” a fictional civilization suspended beyond conventional notions of time, explored through an archaeological and dreamlike lens.
Guests entered through a monumental passageway inspired by the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Two towering sculptural feet stood on either side of the entrance, conceived as the surviving remains of an impossible sculpture. Before reaching the main space, an engraved stone bearing an undeciphered ancient script marked the transition, establishing the sensation of leaving ordinary time behind.

Inside, monumental circular monoliths, Stonehenge-style, held the collection’s key shoes and leather goods in niches carved in stone, each piece placed as a treasured artifact. A central round structure recalling a meteorite showcased the core of the collection. Formations inspired by the standing stones of Carnac, the prehistoric megalithic site in Brittany whose 3,000 stones date back to 4500 BC and whose original purpose remains unresolved, created a surrounding landscape of exploration and discovery.
Smith said, “This collection is a step into the world of Christian Louboutin Men’s, a graceful fall down the rabbit hole of our universe. It is a story about history, passion, and the inevitable fate of every great civilization that came before us, including this ancient red kingdom of our dreams. I was inspired by the traces that remain after time transforms achievement into myth, and reality into legend. When I awake, I wonder: is any of this truly new, or has it all happened before? Are we moving forward, or simply walking in circles, slowly sinking back into the red sands of time?”

Several classic silhouettes have been updated this season. The Plato Loafer and the Corteo both feature architectural brass brackets integrated into the heel and welt, a patent dégradé finish moving from black to red, and a redesigned foam footbed for improved comfort. For evening, the Corteo Diam’s adds crystals set around the welt. The Starry Night reimagines the classic Oxford through hand-applied glass tubes and beads inspired by Parisian couture.

Metal hardware appears across multiple styles. The Trapman TCT 2 carries a brass plate engraved with Jaden Smith’s new Canopy logo. The Trapman V2 combines technical functionality with refined construction and hidden side lacing. The Joshua Tree takes the Western boot silhouette and adds a metal toe cap, balancing classic boot-making with a contemporary attitude.

The collection also introduces some less conventional moves. The Upside Down relocates the penny loafer’s signature coin to the heel. Brogue Story introduces baseball glove-inspired stitching across a classic brogue, celebrating craftsmanship and authenticity. The Sevillano opera pump, available in patent leather or velvet, takes the form of a ballerina slipper reinterpreted as an evening shoe.
Jaden Smith’s Child Like Wonders universe, developed from his original paper cut-outs, extends to two icons this season. The Corteo Child Like Wonders features patent leather motifs across the upper, and the Louis Child Like Wonders is animated through calf leather cut-outs, adding a playful dimension to both silhouettes.

New footwear introductions include the Jedidiah sneaker, which features an exaggerated ultra-rounded outsole inspired by Christian Louboutin’s history of experimenting with volume. The TCT Hiker High combines leather with 100% recycled breathable fabric and elevated comfort for city wear.
The Stone Masons Feet is cut from a single piece of leather with a sculptural squared toe, positioned as a piece of avant-garde wearable art. For summer, the CL Slide is a lightweight waterproof option marked with the Neo CL logo, and the CL Claw Slide, shaped using modern techniques to resemble an animal’s paw, which have been turned into the CL Claw Slide shoe.

The leather goods line includes the genderless Nostalgic Hobo and Nostalgic Backpack, built around relaxed slouching silhouettes through careful construction. The Cymatic Backpack, beach tote, and bumbag share a soundwave motif as a connecting graphic across the group.
The Multipocket family has been expanded with a process where each raised pocket is individually cut, stitched, and shaped on a wooden mold before being attached to the piece, applied across the Multipocket Backpack, Multipocket Vest, and Multipocket Belt. The Tacktickle Duffle Bag, Tote XS, TCT Briefcase Medium, and TCT Harness combine practical utility with signature hardware and the season’s dégradé finish.

Child Like Wonders keychains close out the accessories line, expressed with a sense of humour and imagination.
Christian Louboutin Men’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection will be available in stores from October 28, 2026.
