With seven South American locations already under its belt, including Easter Island and Chile’s Atacama Desert, Explora now introduces Explora Expeditions, a thrilling series of small-group guided journeys. The first expedition sets its sights on Tierra del Fuego, the southernmost tip of the continent, promising a unique blend of adventure and exploration.

The 7-day, 6-night journey begins in Punta Arenas and crosses the Strait of Magellan to Tierra del Fuego Island. Named by Hernando de Magellan after indigenous bonfires, it offers bespoke experiences with Explora guides. Highlights include encounters with majestic king penguins, a visit to the pristine Karukinka Park, and a challenging hike to Cerro Pietro Grande, boasting panoramic views of the surrounding wilderness. An overnight stay with the Genkowsky family near Lake Fagnano provides a glimpse into local life and culture.
