The actress shared her excitement about the partnership on Instagram, saying, “I’m honored to represent the house of Gucci not only in India but at a global stage. Gucci’s legacy has always inspired and intrigued me and I’m looking forward to the many sartorial milestones we create together.”

Bollywood actors such as Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Ranveer Singh have been announced as brand ambassadors for international luxury brands in the recent past, signaling a much-awaited recognition of India’s talent on the global stage.
As the house’s global ambassador, the new mother and much-loved actress will attend the Gucci Cruise 2024 runway show in Seoul, South Korea, at Gyeongbokgung Palace, on May 16, 2023.
